Tuscany

April 20, 2019

We left the castello (Yes, we stayed in a castle. Yes, we had our own wing. It was a total dream. More on that in my next post!) early and headed to The Mall Firenze for some outlet shopping. The rest of the day was spent driving around neighboring towns, stopping wherever we wanted. It was a nice and easy day. If we had more days to spend in Italy, I would’ve spent them all in Tuscany. Now that we’re on day 62 (!!) of quarantine, I find myself daydreaming of these rolling green hills, wiling the days away in the Tuscan countryside with a good book and some formaggio e vino.

Watch video recap here.

Excuse my poor photo but this steak needs special mention. Best Florentine steak I’ve ever had!
