October 30 - November 3 2019

Some time last year, the homies started talking about going on a long overdue international trip together. Since I was the only girlfriend left at that time (RIP girlfriend group), planning this trip fell unto my lap. The boys’ only criteria? Cold country + lots of booze. Korea came top of mind so off to Seoul we went… but not without a few road bumps. This trip gave me a glimpse of what it’s like to have younger siblings. It’s stressful LOL dont get me wrong, it was fun and the random things that happened makes for a good laugh now, but I’m glad to be bunso haha

A lot happened before we even made it to our Airbnb in Hongdae. Half the group almost missed the cut off for visa application. I had to pull a few strings to get their visas issued in time for our trip and it was a photo finish to get their passports back to Manila the night before our flights. (Thanks, mom!!) One guy didn’t make the trip at all, another almost missed his flight, someone was close to being deported and one fella almost left his passport on a random counter at the airport. Quite an eventful start, to say the least. But like I said, all makes for a great story and it’s instances like this that make you realize not to sweat the small stuff. Life always has a way of working out in the end. We agreed to make Halloween our annual trip. My only request? No more visas. 😅
