Jake & Ria

Another special engagement shoot, this time with my cousin, Ate Ria, and my good friend, Jake! Now that that they’re married, I can finally admit that my mom and I orchestrated this romance 🙈 I vividly remember that afternoon, driving in Makati with mom and having a light bulb moment - that we should introduce Jake to Ate Ria! Although funnily enough, they already met more than a decade ago, at a random paintball battle that a common friend of theirs planned. But my cousin was seeing someone else at that time, and Jake was still too totoy LOL They didn’t even remember until a few photos resurfaced when they started dating. And let me tell ya, those photos are precious haha there were other instances where they could’ve met but it just never happened until that one evening in 2018, when mom and I played cupid. As they say, everything happens in the Universe’s perfect time. I don’t know if I subscribe to the idea of fate or destiny, but sometimes you chance upon stories like theirs and you can’t help but believe that there’s something out there pulling all the strings. It couldn’t possibly all have been a coincidence, right? Well, whatever it is, there’s no denying. These two are a match made in heaven.

I can officially say, matchmaking success rate - 100%!!
