Measure Up: Pan-Seared Rib Eye Steak

Next on Measure Up - Donya Luzee’s Pan Seared Rib Eye Steak. lol whatta fail! Burnt my steak to a crisp πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ I followed the timings in the recipe but I think I had my heat too high. Ate Luzee said it’s also tricky getting the hang of your skillet and finding the right temperature for it. Each one varies according to its make so you really have to be well acquainted with your pan to master it. I guess I just need to keep practicing until I redeem myself from this mess of a first attempt lol I’ll be updating this post until I perfect my steak! 10/10 for flavor though!

Note to future Camille: read the entire recipe! If you read til the end, then you would’ve seen all the tips on gauging when your steak is done!! Don’t rely solely on timings. Trust your gut when you know it’s over and it’s time to take the pan outta the flame.
