Masungi Georeserve

I’ve always wanted to go to Masungi Georeserve. It kept popping up on my social feeds but the weekends were always fully booked. A year since they opened and we were still only able to book for a Saturday hike three months in advance. It was definitely worth the wait though! We chose to do the earliest time possible which in retrospect may have been the best decision. The weather was nice and cool at 6 AM. And it only started to get uncomfortably hot towards the end of the hike. Although our main reason for choosing the earliest time slot was because we wanted to eat after the hike and brunch sounded like a great idea. Always planning around food haha good call on our part though. We were famished and close to hangry by the time we were through with the trail.

11/10 would definitely recommend this experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the hike and found it to be totally doable even for a non-fit person such as myself.
